GTA 6 is locked for November 19, 2026 — and Take-Two says no more delays

By Yellow Hat Editorial ·

After two public delays, Rockstar's date is holding. Take-Two reaffirmed November 19, 2026 on its August earnings call, with marketing now underway.

It's real this time. Grand Theft Auto VI ships Thursday, November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S — and after two public delays, every signal from Take-Two now points one direction.

On the company's August 7, 2026 earnings call, chairman and CEO Strauss Zelnick reaffirmed the date outright and said the game will not be delayed again. Pre-orders are open, the marketing campaign has started, and Rockstar has begun rolling out the kind of coordinated reveal schedule it only runs when a date is final.

What's confirmed: PS5 and Xbox Series X|S at launch. No PC version has been announced yet — Rockstar has historically brought GTA to PC one to two years after console launch, and nothing suggests that pattern is changing.

The other detail that matters for anyone planning around launch week: Rockstar has described the November 19 release as a single-player experience first. The online mode — the part of GTA that became a decade-long economy of its own — follows after launch, the same way GTA Online arrived weeks after GTA V in 2013.

What it means here: RWT Games opens its GTA VI service desk the day the online world does. Cash, progression, unlocks, accounts — hand-played, escrow-protected, the same way we already run Old School RuneScape. The waitlist on our GTA VI page gets launch-week pricing first.
