Rockstar's next card: an extended look at GTA 6 premieres on Netflix August 27

Take-Two calls the Netflix premiere "one of the hors d'oeuvres" — the marketing main course lands between now and November 19.
Rockstar is doing something it has never done before: premiering an extended look at Grand Theft Auto VI on Netflix, August 27, 2026.
Strauss Zelnick told Bloomberg the premiere is "one of the hors d'oeuvres" — deliberately framing it as an early course, not the campaign's peak. With just under three months to release, that means the heaviest marketing beats (and, if history repeats, a third trailer) are still to come between now and November 19.
The two official trailers so far set records that still stand: Trailer 1 (December 2023) introduced Lucia and Jason and the state of Leonida; Trailer 2 (May 2025) pulled over 90 million views in its first 24 hours, one of the biggest video launches in YouTube history.
