What Is Guardians of the Rift?
Guardians of the Rift (GOTR) is a cooperative Runecrafting minigame inside the Abyss. Teams mine essence fragments, craft them into runes at active altars, and power a great guardian to seal an elemental rift. It provides the best combination of Runecrafting XP and passive rewards of any RC method, making it the standard recommendation for training the skill from level 10 to 99.
How to Get There

How a Game Works
Games last approximately 10 minutes. Your objective:

- 4Deposit rune energy into the rift guardian to power the barrier
- 5Craft both elemental AND catalytic runes each game - you need a point in each to claim rewards
Players who only craft one rune type do not receive loot at the end of the game. Always hit both altar types.
